West Maroon Pass Trail (Aspen, CO)

This past weekend, my friend Mel and I hiked the West Maroon Pass Trail from Aspen to Crested Butte, Colorado.  The trail featured impressive Rocky Mountain peaks, lakes, meadows, grand views, and the most impressive display of wildflowers that I have ever seen along a trail.  A trip report will be coming along later, but in the meantime here are a few teaser images from our hike.  (As a side note, I also plan to post my other two non-DV trip reports which are still unpublished from this year soon.)
