This post is to let you know that I will be making a major announcement a couple of weeks from now. That probably sounds a bit cryptic, but I wasn’t cleared to make this post until now due to various reasons. The upcoming major announcement involves an important co-discovery that Kauri and I have made in Death Valley. For me personally, this was my biggest and most significant discovery to date within the park. The discovery was made on my last trip on the date of November 15, 2013. However, during my trip, I did not even publicly report that I had taken the hike. Now I can tell you that I did, but that’s about it. Once Kauri shares the announcement elsewhere, then I will share it here soon after. Check back in a couple of weeks to find out what the major announcement is. It will be worth the wait.
Today I posted my finished trip report for Mummy Canyon and Jensen Natural Bridge. I think you will enjoy checking out the photos for this fairly easy hike. We all had a lot of fun on our hike out to Mummy Canyon, which kicked off our Fall 2013 trip last month. Mummy Canyon is currently listed as report #135 on the main page of the site.
